THE TOUR:
Discovery of three contrasting French regions and the opportunity to visit some of the
country's most famous landmarks and spectacular countryside, long golden sandy
beaches, elegant seaside resorts, orchards and gardens, peaceful and flowery villages
and rivers. . . During this three day circuit our guide will enthrall clients with the history of
the French Royal family with contemporary tales and recital on regional customs and
traditions.
ITINERARY :
Day 1: We take the
Normandy motorway and make our first stop in Rouen
for a walking tour in the old town before continuing to Honfleur. On the way
between Rouen and Honfleur, view of the newly built
Normandy bridge. In
the charming port of Honfleur, enjoy lunch at leisure. We continue to the
beaches of
Normandy and pass by the American
Landing beaches of
Omaha. Then visit of The American cemetery of Saint Laurent and stop in
Arromanches. Dinner and overnight stay at Novotel Caen (or similar).
Day 2 : We leave Caen at 7. 30am in the direction of Brittany. Guided visit of
St Malo (ramparts, cathedral etc). After lunch (free time) we depart for
Mont-Saint-Michel (frontier between the Brittany and
Normandy regions) for
a guided visit of the Abbey followed by free time. Dinner and overnight stay
at the hotel Mercure Lac de Maine (or similar) in Angers.
Day 3 : We leave Angers at 8am (short stop at Château d'Angers for taking
photos) and pass by Cunault and Saumur before the guided visit of the
Château de Langeais. Stop for lunch at Amboise (free time). We continue
by Cheverny and end our stay with a guided visit of the royal and imposing
Château de Chambord. Return to Paris around 9 pm.
